Bulma framework

Bulma framework pdf tutorials

In this post we exclusively bring you the two best PDF tutorials on Bulma in English that you will currently find on the Internet.

Possibly when you read Bulma the first thing that came to your mind was the Dragon Ball Z Kai series but although they share a name we are talking about different topics.

So what is Bulma? CSS framework  (like Bootstrap, Semantic UI and Foundation) developed by Jeremy Thomas and based on Flexbox .

We are facing an elegant framework, light (compressed only 21Kb), simple and responsive, in fact it focuses mainly on mobiles. Also, if we compare Bulma with other CSS frameworks, we have that it is highly customizable and not complex at all.

Although Bulma is quite young, that does not mean that it is complete, and this is demonstrated in its various components that, used well, will allow you to create fantastic websites with incredible designs, although in reality what you can not do is only limited by your creativity , because Bulma gives you everything you need.

With Bulma creating grids, navigation bars, forms and booties is simpler and more flexible, it will be enough to just write a few lines for the framework to take care of giving the appropriate appearance to our website.

Unfortunately, there is not much information available on the Internet about this library yet because it is still under development, and most of the resources are written in English. In our language it is difficult to find good contributions for learning, but we have compiled the two best that are available so far.

In both cases, they are articles published on reference websites with which we have prepared pdf files so that you can consult them whenever you need them.

The recommendation is that you download both, as the first will lay the foundations for your learning and the second will help you to do a specific task for which you will need the basics.

We hope you enjoy them and they are useful to you 🙂

 Learn Bulma in 5 minutes

We started the pdf tutorials on Bulma with this resource based on the article of the same name published by Javier Font.

As indicated in the first pages, this tutorial is intended to be an introduction to the popular CSS framework  that has already become the favorite of many developers over the popular Boostrap, with which you may have worked more than once.

With this tutorial you learn how to configure Bulma using a CDN, what the modifier class is and what they are for, how to convert normal buttons into Bulma buttons, work with columns and create a hero.

Although this manual is brief, after following it you are ready to use other libraries since they are all as intuitive and simple as what is explained in these pages, therefore, by knowing and mastering these concepts you will be ready to use everything else.

Get started with Bulma and make her your favorite in no time with the help of this great tutorial.

How to create blog layout with Bulma

The second tutorial that we leave you has been written by George Martsoukos for the WebDesign portal.

It is presented as a quick and very specific advice with which you will learn how to create a responsive grid layout for a blog with the help of Bulma and her full potential.

We like this tutorial because it is 100% practical, and includes all the code you will need to put into practice what is explained in this valuable resource. In addition to the code, you will be able to see how the blog layout looks as the Bulma functionalities are applied.

When reviewing this resource you will see that it is quite simple, however it is aimed at audiences that have some basis in the framework, so if you are one of them download the tutorial and accompany its author step by step to create a blog that adapts to any device .
